Gerald Weisstein

Gerald Weisstein comes from a background as a senior banking executive with over 25 years of banking experience in both regional and commercial banks, including positions of CEO and President of two major independent banks in Southern California, specializing in real estate finance.

During his tenure at Union Bank he administered a loan portfolio in excess of $250 million dollars. In 1984, Mr. Weisstein left Union Bank to start a new independent bank in Los Angeles as President and CEO of Olympic National Bank. Mr. Weisstein's career in banking was followed by his emergence as CEO of Bank of Los Angeles.

Since 1993, Mr. Weisstein, together with his Partners, formed Center Financial Advisors, Inc., a Company specializing in financing, consulting and investments, focusing in real estate.

Mr. Weisstein brought his banking and real estate experience to GEMB in 2010. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from UCLA, and a Juris Doctorate Degree from Southwestern University School of Law. Among his numerous awards that Mr. Weisstein had received, he is most proud of being the recipient of the Spirit of Life Award bestowed on him by the City of Hope.
