David Semmer

David Semmer was a mortgage broker prior to joining the Elkins team, specializing in the financing of commercial and multi-family properties. He has worked on the development side as well with extensive experience in management, leasing, and acquisitions. David joined George Elkins in April of 1991 and became one of the firm's top producers having financed an average of $50 million per year in loan originations since 1998 and over 1.5 Billion in his career.

David has a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in Finance with a Minor in Economics from Loyola Marymount University, from which he graduated in 1990. David was awarded as a High Producer for GE Asset Management (Genworth) in 1998 and was the top ten in the region. He was top producer at Elkins in 2008, and runner up in 2009. He is actively involved with the City of Hope where he has helped raise over $1,000,000 for Cancer Research. He is an avid golfer, and enjoys skiing, surfing, and spending time with his wife and two children. He is a member of the Mortgage Bankers Association, California Mortgage Bankers Association, Los Angeles Mortgage Association and ICSC. .
