Brian Eisner

Brian Eisner, a Principal with GEMB since 2001, joined the company as a commercial loan officer in 1996. During his tenure at GEMB, Mr. Eisner has successfully originated, structured, and closed over $1 billion of commercial real estate loans secured by office, retail, industrial, multifamily, mobile home park, self-storage, and hotel properties located throughout the country, in major markets as well as secondary and tertiary locations. Mr. Eisner has placed and closed construction, bridge, and long term permanent loans with various lenders including GEMB's correspondent life insurance companies, Wall Street conduits, banks, credit companies, mezzanine and "hard money" lenders, and private sources. Loans originated by Mr. Eisner have ranged from $500,000 to $75 million and cover various structures, from variable rate to long term fixed rate, from low leverage to as high as 95% leverage, from fully amortizing to full term interest only, and many others. Mr. Eisner also specializes in financing Tenant in Common ("TIC") borrowing structures, having successfully structured and closed more than 35 loans in excess of $500 million of such transactions.

Prior to joining GEMB, Mr. Eisner worked for a Southern California based residential real estate developer, where he oversaw the construction financing of various tract housing developments. Mr. Eisner graduated with Honors from the University of California at Berkeley in 1990 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics.
